25 The priest[a] shall take some of[b] the sin offering’s blood with his finger, and he shall put it on the horns of the altar of the burnt offering, and he must pour out the rest of[c] its blood on the base of the altar of the burnt offering. 26 He[d] must turn all of its fat into smoke on the altar like the fat of the fellowship offerings’ sacrifice, and the priest shall make atonement for him because of[e] his sin, and he will be forgiven.[f]

27 “‘If[g] anyone[h] of the people of the land sins by an unintentional wrong by violating[i] one of Yahweh’s commands that should not be violated,[j] so that[k] he incurs guilt,
